My dad was an electrician, so I've lived and breathed electrical work my entire life. I have worked at every station of the trade. Officially beginning in 2007, I completed my apprenticeship in 2011 and left the job I'd held for 4 years for lack of growth opportunities. While working full-time, I taught as an electrical apprentice instructor from 2016-2018. In 2017, I took the exam and passed to get my Master's Electrical License. After climbing the ranks with the 2nd contractor for 11 years, I realized that it was time to start my own legacy. I'd learned a lot about how I would (and wouldn’t) run my own business. I also read and listened to as many books as I could to become a wealth of knowledge and resource. With Young Cardinal, I hope to address some of the inequities that I witnessed in my career.
1. Contractors stand to [grossly] capitalize on extracting all they can from the worker's value. There is a considerable gap between the value of the skilled electrical worker and the wage of the said worker, which I intend to bridge.
2. There was an obvious lack of perspective from upper management in relation to the workforce. I think it is important not to lose touch with the concerns and struggles of your coworkers. Work to Life balance is an essential part of the puzzle.
"There is nothing else that so kills the ambitions of a person as criticism from superiors. I never criticize anyone. I believe in giving a person incentive to work. So I am anxious to praise but loath to find fault. If I like anything, I am hearty in my appreciation and lavish in my praise”

I was born and raised right here in Tampa. My grandparents moved to Wesley Chapel and Dade city in the 70s, and I grew up attending the Dade City Christmas Parade and going to the Pasco County Fair with my entire family- our roots are deep!
With starting our own business it has been essential to ensure that growth and development are at the heart of our business, much like our community.
This company is Adam's trade and a big dream for him, and it has always been a dream of mine to build an environment of healthy professionalism, continued growth, and development of knowledge and trade, as well as something wonderful we can do to show our children the skies are the limit and businesses are built off of passions and dreams with all the focused effort.
I ran my own businesses under the umbrella of Nordstrom for 6.5 years, so I am excited to take all the information and skills I learned there, as well as, the lessons of business growth and the positive work environment I established with my teams to build a stable, exciting, driven and focused environment for our Young Cardinal team.
